Let me just cut right to the chase: I’M IN SEATTLE AND I’M GOING TO SEE TAYLOR SWIFT TOMORROW NIGHT WITH KATISSE.

There’s more stuff happening on this trip but we will burn that bridge when we get to it. TAYLOR SWIFT IS WAITING. How am I supposed to write coherent, let alone eloquent, things when my brain is just ‘AHHHHHHHHHHHH’ about the concert tomorrow? Even the pilot on the plane from Calgary to Seattle mentioned Taylor Swift and over half the people on the flight literally cheered. Like actually loudly.

Years ago Katisse and I decided that since we would likely never live in the same city again we would meet up somewhere new every time Taylor Swift tours. WELL we were supposed to see her in 2020 for the Lover Tour but a pesky little PLAGUE got in the way so now it’s been five years since we’ve gotten to sing our hearts out together. The Era’s Tour sounds like it will be worth the wait though… apologies if my post tomorrow is just straight up screaming.

My flights were thankfully uneventful, and the day just flew right by as I got more and more excited to see Katisse tonight. I managed to find my way to our hotel without getting lost (what a feat for me!) and promptly sat my tired butt down to write this post as I wait for a pizza and Katisse to show up. The historic Panama Hotel is one of those buildings that’s so old that every step you take creaks super loud and electricity was clearly put in as an afterthought. It’s a toss up between an old romance story locale and a murder mystery location.

It’s perfect.

Seeing as it’s 11 pm and I haven’t eaten much today I’m almost as excited about the pizza that should be here soon as I am about seeing Kat!

We have a late night pizza date and catching up to do and she should be here any minute…
