Location: Cebu City, Cebu, Philippines
Despite the crazy sounds of school next door, we managed to relax this morning, sleeping in and having a full American breakfast on the porch (still with incredible Filipino coffee though). I ended up speaking with the owner of the house a bit, who’s an older man from New York that just loves Bohol island so much he spends at least half the year here! He wore a bowling shirt, walked with a cane and played only older music like Frank Sinatra and Patsy Cline. Everybody loved him.

We packed up leisurely, since we had no plans today other than to get back to Cebu. The ferry terminal was crazy and way less organized here than when we left, and we were both worried our bags wouldn’t make it onto the boat. Luckily they did and the ride was smooth.
Back in Cebu we returned to our hub, Mad Monkey, to find it the same as ever – only this time the running water was back on! We spent the afternoon and evening lounging around the pool, ordering local food, and getting some work done. We stayed until almost midnight up on the poolside with our feet dangling in, people watching as the party raged on around us. I think by the time we left the poolside our feet were completely wrinkled!
