Location: Taipei, Taiwan

I have been pretty gogogo being the ultimate tourist the last couple of days, so I decided to not plan anything touristy today. I woke up for my daily hostel toast breakfast, drank a coffee and watched the news. I visited with some people milling about the common room before heading out back to Din Tai Fung for some soup dumplings.

I have a dumpling problem. I’m not even sorry.

I was wandering around and found a theatre playing matinees, so I grabbed some kettle corn and sat down to watch Joker. Good lord. I was not pleased. The movie was amazing and so well done but so depressing. I needed a pick me up after that so I went back to the hostel and played some darts with Zach, Jack and some other people kicking around.

I’m sitting now in the common room, relaxing and mentally preparing for what is sure to be a wild day tomorrow! It’s the biggest Pride Parade in all of Asia and people from all over fly in just for this parade. Apparently it’s an absolutely massive all day party.

I was noticing the last few days that I was meeting a lot more flamboyant men… I guess this explains why!
