Sav: This morning I woke up to a call from my Dad at 6:30 AM which was so disorienting. I could not comprehend what was happening and was so sleepy! Having an iPod instead of a phone is also interesting because it automatically goes on speaker so my whole room heard me stumbling around. Then I remembered Meaghan was leaving and she was out in the hall packing up and I literally thought I was dreaming. The confusion this morning was real.
Anyway Meaghan left this morning. After a quick hug, me shuffling back to my room and feebly scraping at the lock, I went back to sleep.
I woke up and it felt like a limb was missing. I actually got up and started talking to Meaghan’s empty bed before I realized she wasn’t in it. Apparently I’m not very good at waking up!
A group of 10 girls and I went to Cirkusz for one last hurrah. I won’t get into the details. Hi my name is Savanna and I’m addicted to Turkish Eggs.
I spent the whole day around the hostel hanging out with Minion, Peacock, Maddie and a bunch of other guests intermittently. It was so relaxing to just read, paint people’s nails, socialize and lay-around.
There’s a game night that is a big deal at the hostel, and I figured it was a great day to participate. Fables, the resident record holder for most wins, invited me to be on his team so it was looking like it would be a lot of fun. Ryan (our other teammate who had just checked into the hostel), Fables and I had a great time playing all the games. We were second for most of the tournament, then grabbed the win in the very last round. We celebrated and danced and sang it was wonderful!
I received a champion wristband that reminds me of this incredibly happy last night in Budapest, and it’s going to have to fall off before I take it off. I love this place.
Can you tell by my near-constant gushing?
