M: Savanna has been hit with what we are calling The Plague. She is feeling awful and I’m doing my best to mother her but I don’t think my skills are up to snuff. Because of this, today was a low-key day spent in and around the hostel.

I went out and about for the afternoon, picking up a few things to help Savanna and window shopping.

From the sounds of it, The Plague comes and goes quickly. The hostel owners told us it’s like a 24 hour norovirus style sickness, so fingers crossed that she is better by tomorrow. Eighteen hours in and we are seeing no sign of improvement yet, but hopefully all is well after another night.
