Location: Vienna, Austria
Meaghan: Today was our last day in Prague. I am going to miss a lot of things about this city, like the beautiful buildings and the history. Every street looks like it could be on a postcard! I have taken more photos in this one city than I have in the past three weeks put together. It’s hard to imagine people living normal lives here. How could you ever have Monday blues somewhere as beautiful as this? But I’m also really going to miss the price of food and drink…it is ridiculous. Breakfast today was the same price as a Tim’s breakfast, but was about twenty times better.
Sav: I am also going to miss Prague a lot, I can’t imagine feeling more happy in a city… But I know we have so many left to go and they will all give Prague a run for its money. After breakfast we sat and drank coffee and dealt with a large stack of postcards we have been hoarding for the right time. Watch out family and friends, they’re coming!
We caught the train to Vienna this afternoon and watched one of Meag’s favourite movies: “Before Sunrise” which was weird but also good. It takes place in Vienna so it was the right pick for obvious reasons!
M: We’ve just been relaxing for the rest of the day. There has been a lot of sweets and baked goods lately so we decided we should probably eat something green. We ordered green salads to go with our pizza and it turns out green salad just means a pile of lettuce. Literally just lettuce. Maybe it’s a sign that we should stick with the sweets and baked goods?
S: Confirmed. Actually today was literally not my fault. I was all “I need a salad let’s find salad. Pizza sounds good but salad.” And Meaghan goes “UGH PIZZA.” And immediately googled the closest pizza place. So here we are.
