MOHER Wind Please

Location: Galway, County Galway, Ireland

Sav: So another day has passed and we couldn’t be more excited… we thought. BUT WAIT. We were. Today we went to the cliffs of Moher. Which were absolutely breath taking. Not really what I expected… I thought they would be this astoundingly high cliffs and that’s it. But instead they were this clear display of geological history with grass flowing all over the rock like a sea and wind pushing water droplets 200 meters in the air… I kept leaning over the edge to see the waves crashing against the rock face and Meaghan stayed well back from me and watched in horror. “I’m not gonna die,” I said. “The only way that happens today is if some psychopath pushes me off the edge.” Well obviously that didn’t happen as I’m currently writing this…

Meags: After the cliffs we came back to Galway and met Kelly, our roommate for the night. She lives in Alaska and is very cool. Enticed by a free beer and the chance to get to know Kelly, we went for dinner with about 20 people from the hostel. It was a blast! The night continued from there with more (sadly not free) beer out and about in Galway.

S: We went to a few bars and ran around the Latin quarter with a bunch of new friends we made at dinner, laughing, dancing to live Irish music and trying the local beer. These people really know how to have a great time! Seriously Galway I think has been both of our favourite stop so far… Everything about the town just draws you in and makes you want to explore.

Shout out to our new friends: Kelly, Joe, Wade and everyone else we met that were so much fun to spend an evening with!

P.S. Stayed at the Galway City Hostel- absolutely would recommend!
